Dear Save Spalding Friends -

 

Thank you all for your tremendous support today! We had a huge turnout today at the Community meeting, estimating well over 100 people! A short summary of the meeting is below, but I did want to mention that this is the beginning of the journey. There will be more community meetings forthcoming, the timing of which will be communicated by Fulton County Schools. It will be important for us to stay engaged in the process as it unfolds over the next several months.

 

In the meeting today, Cliff Jones reviewed Fulton's safety plans followed by Noel Maloof, the COO, going over the same presentation that was at the board meeting. This was followed by Q&A. We have captured the questions and will work to summarize those and share them out over the next few days.

 

Reminder that tomorrow is the Fulton County School Board Meeting at 6PM at the South Learning Center in Union City. School consolidation is on the agenda, though it looks to be the same presentation we saw tonight from last week's meeting.
